About Ganglion Cysts
Ganglion cysts are lumps that may develop along the tendons or joints of the ankles, feet, wrists or hands. In some locations they may be unsightly, while in other areas they may cause pain with motion. Ganglion cysts are not cancerous. They can vary in size from pea-size to over an inch in diameter. Ganglion cysts occasionally regress on their own in the first few months of appearance. They may also drained or surgically excision. Wrist arthroscopy has given us a new way to remove the lesions with tiny incisions.
